Walter Howor is based in the Montreal area and has been a worldwide adventure traveller, author and photographer for nearly 20 years.
He discovered photography to be one of his passions as he travelled at home in Canada, and then abroad, first throughout Australia, and then around the South Pacific (New Zealand, Fiji, the Cook Islands, and Tahiti). He then chose to explore Southeast Asia (the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore), before going to Northern Africa, South and Central America, and the Caribbean, particularly enjoying his times in Cuba. Southern Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia), with its amazing scenery, abundant wildlife and welcoming people, was a photographer’s dream. On his latest trip to China, he discovered that one must deal with the “old” and the “new”, side by side, along with the old that is new again! Warm people and stunning scenery once again made for a very memorable adventure.When closer to home in Canada, Walter concentrates his efforts on a variety of event photography.

Although it is a relatively small country, Cuba offers huge photographic opportunities. Its colorful construction, people, wildlife, and scenery draw you in and take hold of you... making photography a very enjoyable experience.
